1. After I downloaded https://software.intel.com/iot/edgesoftwarehub/download/home/visioninsights in customized download. I want to run EdgeX only. The docker edgexfoundry image is listed there. But my question is how install EdgeX in Development mode? Does "edgesoftware install" provide development mode at all?

2. How can I just use EdgeX as a device manager service for Edge Insight Industrial?

Hi there,

For now ./edgesoftware install does not install EdgeX in development mode (i.e. running natively) but you can develop your own application leveraging the EdgeX stack within Edge Insight for vision.

Are you looking for Edge Insight for industrial or Edge insight for vision? Both of them are different software packages.
