In VTune's current roadmap there is no immediate plans for support of hardware event based profiling on AMD Ryzen. For now the only suggestion, I can make for you is to collect the data through Linux perf and import the raw trace data on VTune GUI using: https://software.intel.com/en-us/vtune-help-importing-results-to-gui
