Hello,

Is there a command to change the viewpoint of a vtune analysis ? I want to obtain the "Hotspots by CPU utilization" viewpoint report for threading analysis using commandline. I am using Vtune profiler 2020 Update 1.

Hi.

Did you mean summary report?

<LI-CODE lang="markup">vtune.exe -r r000tr -R summary</LI-CODE>

Looks like you need to change context value to get Hotspot summary instead of threading.

In file r000tr\config\context_values.cfg replace

<LI-CODE lang="markup"><contextValue id="initialViewpoint" value="%ThreadingEfficiencyViewpointName"/></LI-CODE>

on

<LI-CODE lang="markup"><contextValue id="initialViewpoint" value="%HotspotsByCPUUsageViewpointName"/></LI-CODE>

I'm not sure that is applicable way for you.

Kirill
