VTune Profiler cannot recognize the processor on Core Ultra 5

Hello Team,

I have been trying to use VTune Profiler for model profiling on Windows 11 but getting following error.

I have tried even using predefined sample matrix example which comes with VTune and using "Performance Snapshot", still same following error.

I am getting following error:

"This analysis type is not applicable to the system because VTune Profiler cannot recognize the processor. If this is an old Intel processor, please refer to the minimum hardware requirements in the release note. If this is a new Intel processor, please check for an updated version of VTune Profiler. If this is an unreleased Intel processor, please contact Online Service Center for an NDA product package.

This analysis type is not applicable to the current machine microarchitecture"

I have tried uninstall and install but still no luck.

It will be really helpful if anybody has face this similar issue and resolve this issue.

Is VTune profiler doesn't support Intel Core Ultra

Please provide the Windows 11 Version and Build. Additionally, did you use Vtune 2024.1? The current VTune release doesn't support some of the latest Windows 11 builds.

Thank you for the quick reply!

Following are Windows and VTune details:

Windows Details: Windows 11 Home - Version: 23H2 and OS Build: 22631.3447

VTune Details: Yes, I am using VTune 2024.1

Please provide your valuable feedback to run VTune profiler on this Windows OS build. I am flexible on using previous version of VTune. Do you recommend trying out previous version of VTune e.g. 2023 which might work? Please advise.

Also, If I use previous version of VTune e.g. 2023 then, will I have to also update my oneAPI to 2023?

The current VTune release doesn't support the 22631.3447, this is the latest update from Windows 11. VTune will support this build in future releases. So, for the Windows 11 build, you only use user-mode sampling mode.

Is there way that I can get previous version of VTune and oneAPI Base Toolkit 2023.2 version?

I am trying to find the oneAPI Base Toolkit 2023.2 which also includes VTune?

It will be helpful if you share the link or location from where I can download 2023.2 oneAPI Base Toolkit.
