PTU 3.2 IA32 and Eclipse plugins

Hi,

what is the URL of the Intel site from which I can get IA32 3.2 PTU plugins for Eclipse? Yes I know that PTU is distributed with the eclipse that has necessary plugins build in but I would like to get PTU required plugins for my eclipse (Ganymede) so I don't end-up with two eclipses?

If downlodable plugins are not available do you know any hacks I need to apply to make PTU work with my eclipse?

To the best of my knowledge, when you install PTU,itshould use the existing copy of Eclipse, not install a new one. Has this -- installing a second copy of Eclipse -- happened to you?

The PTU package from the website you quote comes as zip archive. It does not come with the installer. To install one has to unzip content and run binaries. One of them is eclipse with built it modules required to use PTU. I use evaluation copy of VTune and PTU works but using it from another eclipse is a draw-back for me. It will be great to use my eclipse and download just the required plugins.

The Eclipse help files explain how to dothis in "Workbench User Guide > Concepts > Perspectives" -- although when it refers to General > Perspectives, the User Guide assumes that you have started from the menu at the top of the Eclipse window, then selected Window > Preferences. In the column on the left you should see where you can then select General.

As for the second copy of Eclipse on your system, I'll need to do more research on that.
