It's been a while since I used VTune by starting and stopping manually, while the application remains running. Check whether there are instructions on how to do that. Usually, you set it up so that collection ends by normal termination of the application. If it runs too long, and you have to abort it, adjust your application or the VTune configure parameters for a shorter run.

I configured a new project for "L2/L1 data load misses", and "ok". After I stop the run, there was nosampling result, and in the output window, I saw the message as "the sampling collector was stopped before it could finish collecting sampling data".

What's wrong with this?
