These operations include additions, shifts and comparison (as they are similar in complexity). In forum threads I found only one topic which concerns FLOPS counting: <A href="http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums//topic/43860" target="_blank">http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums//topic/43860</A> but this is not what I need. <BR /><BR />I have several processors to test application: Core2Duo, Pentium III, Celeron. VTune Performance Analyzer version: 9.0 build: 719. Is there any event counter to calculate exact operations quantity which function performs? If there is not, what I have to do?<BR /><BR />I tried "micro operation any retired" counter, but got confused with big differences in this counter value with several activity runs.
