Direct X 12 crash Dolphin Emulator

Hi!

Dolphin allows the user to choose between multiple different API:s. I have Dolphin at default settings. All other API:s work fine when launching any game, but with Direct X 12 Dolphin crashes immediatetly when trying to launch any game.

I get the highest raw performance with Vulkan, but there are black and white artifacts on the screen in an X-formation most of the time in game. The second best performance is with Direct X 11, no visual problems at all. I have high hopes for Direct X 12.

I followed the instructions here ( https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-ARC-Graphics/Need-help-Reporting-a-bug-or-issue-with-Arc-GPU-PLEASE-READ-THIS/td-p/1494429 ) to make a crash dump file, but when I launched a game then, Dolphin just showed a black screen for a long time, and wouldn't crash like before. I got worried, checked task manager and saw disk usage at 100%. I had to log out of Windows to stop Dolphin. When I checked, the file in C:\AppCrashDumps was over 70gb in size. I suspect it would have kept growing infinitely if I hadn't stopped it.

Steps for recreation: launch dolphin > go to graphics settings > change api to directx12 > try launching any game > dolphin closes

My GPU is an Arc770 16gb

Driver version: 31.0.101.5333 (I tried before with two previous driver versions)

Application: Dolphin Emulator ( https://dolphin-emu.org/ ) (I tried launching multiple Wii and Gamecube titles, for example Luigi's Mansion and New Super Mario Bros. Wii)

Dolphin version: 5.0-21088
