So I have an Acer Aspire 5 and I have a problem with the graphics card drivers. Namely, my laptop gets the latest updates thanks to windows update for windows 11. However, your application "support assistant" still shows about updates to the graphics card, which I once installed and were later "abolished" by windows falladate. What to do?

Do not use IDSA, or tell IDSA to ignore the update.

Ignore update? In windows 11 it's impossible it will stopp ALL the updates not only this one..

Which updates are you talking about? Window or IDSA?

It is NOT impossible to stop all windows updates. You just have to know what you are doing.

But, that is not what you were asking about.

Decide what you want to do, and then come back with a clear explanation of what you want to accomplish.

In windows 11 drivers are integreted in the program ,,windows update". I dont know what IDSA means. Im not an IT specialist.

IDSA is the Intel Driver and Support Assistant.

Again, explain CLEARLY what you want to accomplish.

If you have questions about how Windows 11 handles updates, contact Microsoft support.

I want my computer to be compatible with the update. I mean, I want it to show that there are no updates. so that he does not harass me with updates as they are not there.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

I checked the report and you don’t have an Arc graphics card on your laptop so you posted your question in the wrong place

Now, you don’t have the latest graphics driver installed. That's the main reason why the driver support assistant from intel shows a notification.

Install the latest graphics driver and then check the assistant. Do this installation manually

Bot how it work that everything in my laptop including ,,intel graphics control center" app show me that my drivers are up-to-date. But not ,,Intel Driver and support assistant" ??

Because Windows does not control Intel updates.

Windows updates and driver updates are completely different. If you go to the device manager and try to update the graphics driver from there, Windows is not going to install anything. Windows is not that smart

You have to download the driver here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html

And install it manually.

You are right, however, as I wrote at the beginning of the first post there is a conflict of software "Windows update" shows me that everything is up to date, while "Intel driver and support" that is not. Once already with the help of this tool I carried out an update. The effect of this was that suddenly "windows update" showed me that I have an update, I updated everything and then again "Intel driver and support" showed me that I have outdated drivers. It's a vicious circle.

Hey everyone, I saw somewhere that this will be fixed so I am most likely too late.

BUT, a little annoying sometimes in the timing. "wushowhide". Works on Windows 10 and 11.

Follow steps "Using Microsoft Diagnostic Tool to prevent the driver installing automatically" from the link below.

Timing is annoying as it requires the "update" or driver to be uninstalled, it will only give the option to hide updates prior to updates being installed.

Occasionally a Windows build update or another "Windows Update" update will "reset" the change BUT it is not super common.
You can revert the change by re running the tool to enable the specific update.
