When I play FPS games at any 4:3 resolution and press Alt+Tab, the screen tears/distorts. I don't encounter this issue when playing at 16:9 resolution. My computer's native resolution is 1920x1080. This distortion doesn't appear in screenshots taken on the PC. I took a photo of it instead.

Please allow us to ask for the following information that we will use to derive viable suggestions for your concern:

1. Where you experiencing this issue since day one of using the card?

2. Did the problem happen after a recent graphics driver update?

3. Do you have any background applications when running 4:3 games? Like screen recording software, streaming software, game modifiers, etc.

4. It would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility from this page, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html. To run it, please press "Scan". After the scan is finished, click next and there will be a save button, giving you an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply. 5. Kindly enumerate the games that where you are facing this behavior.

6. Does your system hang when you get those artifacts and your only resort is to restart the computer or the refresh the graphics driver?

1. Normally, this wasn't happening so frequently, but it has increased recently.

2. The issue has always been there, it did not occur after an update.

3. Only the application called Discord is open in the background when running 4:3 games.

4. I ran the Intel® System Support Utility, the text file is below.

5. The games where I experience the issue are: Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, RainbowSix.

6. When I experience this issue, there is no freezing. I find a solution by restarting the computer.

7. My monitor model is: Samsung Odyssey G3 LS24AG320NUXUF 24" 1 ms Full HD FreeSync Pivot.

Thank you for the quick response.

Here are the suggestions that we derived from the answers that you had provided:

1. For testing only, before your play the games that you mentioned, please close Intel ARC Control by right-clicking it on the system tray and selecting “Quit ARC Control”. While this is closed, kindly check if you will experience the same behavior when alt tabbing from 4:3 games or the applications that you had mentioned.

2. Should it still be the same, please open Intel ARC Control and go to the games section. Check if you have the games you mentioned added on the “Game Library”. If yes, please try removing them all and run the games again and try to alt tab.

3. Sometimes updating your system to sync with the graphics drivers that we have can resolve these kinds of issue. Please update your BIOS to the latest version. We strongly recommend that you seek the help of your motherboard manufacturer, Gigabyte, for guidance on how to update the BIOS properly as this procedure can render your system inoperable.

4. If it still did not solve the issue, please install these old graphics driver, 31.0.101.5518. There maybe a message notifying that you are installing an old graphics driver, just okay that and ensure that you select clean install driver. After installing the old driver, check if the same behavior is happening.

5. May we have your power supply model and wattage?

6. Is your rebar enabled?

Intel ARC Control is already closed when this issue occurs. I don't open it unless necessary.
I removed the games from the Game Library and ran them again, but the issue persists.
I updated my BIOS, but the problem still exists.
I installed the old graphics driver version 31.0.101.5518, and the issue is still there.
My power supply is an Asus TUF-GAMING-650B 650W 80 Plus Bronze 135mm Gaming Power Supply.
Rebar is enabled.

I have an A750 too. I've been facing the exact same issue with the same games and also the same patterns of artifacting.. I've tried everything but couldn't find a fix for this.
