    <description>&lt;P&gt;This monitor has an &lt;STRONG&gt;Nvidia G-SYNC module&lt;/STRONG&gt; built into the hardware. This only works with Nvidia graphics cards via DisplayPort using a proprietary Nvidia protocol.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To be able to use Intel graphics cards with variable refresh rate, the monitor only needs to support the "open" standards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;VESA AdaptiveSync (DisplayPort) or&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;HDMI 2.1 VRR&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, this is not the case with the Asus ROG Swift PG348Q.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>No VRR using Intel B580 with an ASUS ROG PG348Q</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recently upgraded from an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, to an Intel Arc B580. However, with this change, I lost the ability to enable VRR.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My screen is an ASUS ROG PG348Q, which comes with native G-Sync support. I was able to use G-Sync with my old GeForce GTX 1080 just fine, and expected to be able to turn on VRR with the new B580. However, the setting is set to "Not Supported" in the Intel Graphics Software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have it plugged in via the primary Display Port, using the same cable that previously worked for me. I made sure to do a clean install, and even used DDU beforehand, with no luck.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to work around this, or report this to the right people so it can be supported through a future driver update?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
