      <title>B580 DisplayPort blank screen</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The B580 gives a blank screen when using a DisplayPort (but as the screen is not turning on I assume it is still getting a signal)&amp;nbsp; works fine with an HDMI.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The display port allows me to see the bios splash screen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Specs&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Display Name: Pixio PX247 Free sync monitor&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Display Type: Digital&lt;BR /&gt;Mother Board: MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (MS-7c91)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Gpu: Intel B580 - PCIe v4.0 x8 (16.0 GT/s) @ x8 (16.0 GT/s)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X&lt;BR /&gt;Ram: 16gb dd4 3200 Samsung&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Issue present on both windows 10 pro 1905 and Mint Linux live USB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Steps tried&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All&amp;nbsp;DisplayPort's on card tried&lt;BR /&gt;3x different cables tried&lt;BR /&gt;DDU on Windows tried&lt;BR /&gt;Driver reinstall tried&lt;BR /&gt;Bios Updated&lt;BR /&gt;GPU reseated&lt;BR /&gt;Old rx vaga 64 tried and worked with DisplayPort&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I connected both HDMI and DisplayPort and was able to see that VRR was set on the Monitor over display port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With both HDMI and&amp;nbsp;DisplayPort connected I was able to change both resolution and refresh rate of the DisplayPort connection but it still gave a blank screen when trying to swap back to it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have now also tried this with two other monitors one free sync and one not.&lt;BR /&gt;Both worked fine with DisplayPort.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The only thing I can think off is that my monitor has built in speaker so I suppose its not an apples to apples comparison.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Has anyone else had problems or strange issues with DisplayPort on these cards?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
