About the question that B580 + Z370 + 8700K does not harden H265

When editing with Da Vinci, the B580 graphics card did not participate in the decoding of H265 10bit 422 footage. My computer configuration is I7-8700k + Gigabyte Z370 + B580 graphics card. Hi Ubunbo,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It seems like you're having encoding issues using H.265 on Da Vinci, upon reviewing your system configuration, It seems your system does not fully meet the requirements to fully utilize the B580.

See the link for reference: Intel® Arc™ B-Series Graphics – Desktop Quick Start Guide

As you'll see, the minimum requirements CPU wise is a 10th gen processor, and a motherboard with Resizable (Re-Size) BAR enabled. As you are using an 8th gen processor with a Z370 chipset, both of these are not within the minimum requirements and are not able to utilize the B580 to its full extent.

With that being said, I'd like to suggest if you could use the B580 in a system configuration that meets the minimum requirements and attempting to recreate the issue so we can be sure and pinpoint the limitation.

此问题已经解决，可能是因为8700K的集成显卡不能完成H265的解码，然后我没有关闭核显。后来吧核显关闭后问题得以解决，感谢您的回答。已经按照您的建议更换了新的主板和CPU，新配置是U7 265K + Z890。

This issue has been resolved, probably because the integrated graphics card of the 8700K does not complete the decoding of the H265, and then I did not turn off the core graphics. Later, the problem was solved after the nuclear display was closed, thank you for your answer. Have replaced the motherboard and CPU with a new one as you suggested, the new configuration is U7 265K + Z890.
