Did this software/application previously worked on this system?

Additionally, I highly appreciate you sharing your system configuration so I we can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.

Scan: Check the box Everything.

Click Scan.

Review: When finished scanning, click Next.

Click Save.

Attach the SSU log file as you reply.

I will wait for your reply so I can further check.

Best regards,

JeanetteC.

Intel Customer Support Tachnician

Hello Jeanette

thank you very much for your reply. Yes, that is the newly released version of DAZ3D Studio. As published artist I have the Publishing Build version of DAZ3D ALPHA.

I also have the Publishing Build 4.24 Beta version. Unlike ALPHA this version supports the OpenGL Shading Language and other features (see attachment).

DAZ3D Developer told me that I need the OpenGL shading language supported in order to have the viewport activated. Right now it is just a gray window and I cannot see anything that is loaded in the scene (see attachment). I will also need Multitexturing, Shadow Map to be supported in order to render properly.

Attachedd is also the SSU log file.

Hello efemeris,

Thank you for providing more details about the software issues you're experiencing. When an application's features or settings aren't displaying correctly, updating the drivers can often resolve the problem. However, in this case, it appears to be a hardware compatibility issue, as the software requires NVIDIA graphics cards. I strongly suggest contacting the software developer's support team to verify this requirement. They might be able to advise whether the application can run smoothly without NVIDIA graphics. Additionally, consider reaching out to your system manufacturer's support team to explore the possibility of upgrading your hardware, specifically the graphics card. While GPUs in mobile devices are typically soldered to the motherboard, some manufacturers offer solutions for using external graphics cards.

I hope this helps.

Hello Jeanette

thank you for your reply. my beta version of DAZ3D studio works well without NVIDIA card. DAZ studio requires NVIDIA

but it works also with other GCs (like Intel) and on MAC computer. In one of the forum threads in DAZ community some artists

have also reported their issues with Intel and other GCs. I'll have to contact DAZ tech support to clarify this matter and to follow up the

mentioned thread.

Thank you kindly for your support, Jeanette. It was very helpful <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>
