I rebooted my computer after a Windows update completed and it looks like one of those actions may have resolved the issue. The Intel Graphics software is now correctly recognising the resized BAR and I am not seeing applications hang when a video is played.

I'll update this thread if the issue returns.

After updating to the latest graphics drivers the Intel Graphics Software has started reporting that resizable BAR is disabled. My BIOS says that the settings are enabled and other tools such as GPU-Z are not reporting these issues. Although I have not been able to confirm if it is related, I have also started having issues with applications (chrome, steam, etc) hanging when they start playing videos.

Has anyone else had similar issues and do they know what I can do to resolve this?

GPU: B580

Software Version: 25.14.1302.1

Driver Version: 32.0.101.6790

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)
[W10 is this generation's XP]
