Hello,

I'm experiencing a serious track texture issue when playing Forza Motorsport (2023) downloaded from the Microsoft Store using my Intel Arc B580 graphics card. The problem appears as flickering or persistent black squares on the track surface.

I have already tried the following, but the issue remains unchanged:

Updated the graphics driver (latest version)
Adjusted nearly all in-game graphics settings (including texture, shadows, lighting, ray tracing, filtering, etc.)
Verified game files through the Xbox/Microsoft Store system

None of these solutions have helped resolve the issue.

My System Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
GPU: Intel Arc B580
Driver version: 32.0.101.6795
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
Motherboard: MAXSUN B760M D4
Power Supply: Huntkey 650W
Monitor: 1080p 165Hz
OS: Windows 10 22H2

Hello, and thank you for taking this issue seriously.

I've tested nearly every track in the game, and the texture artifact consistently appears across all of them. The artifact takes the form of black square patches, often with flickering dot patterns inside them.

So far, I haven’t noticed these issues during cutscenes—only while driving during actual gameplay.

I’ve been using the Arc B580 to play this game since I purchased it in mid-April, and the issue has been present across all driver versions I’ve tested, including WHQL-certified ones.

Resizable BAR has always been enabled on my system and has not been turned off.

I’ve uploaded a gameplay video where I drive to the location where the artifact appears. I hope this helps you clearly observe the issue I described.

I had exactly the same problem. It seems that there is a driver bug in the decals, used in the high and ultra presets. The solution is to turn them off.

Here are the steps:

goto \media\pcfamily\renderscenarios\high or \media\pcfamily\renderscenarios\ultra
open global.xml file
edit value <DecalsEnabled value ="1"/> to <DecalsEnabled value ="0"/>
