Hello,

Normally before the new update I could launch the game with Intel Arc & Iris Xe Graphics 101.7029 however after I got the new update Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.0101.7076 notification I could not launch the game even though I did not installed. Yes, I mentioned that I've successfully installed 101.7029 and launches the game well however when I got the notification for 32.0.101.7076 I tried to install with clean installation. I could not update as a result I have 32.0.101.6790 driver version.

1) I tried to go to device manager but it did not change anything for me.

2) It does not change whether I do clean installation or not, it won't update itself.

I only have freezing issues while playing Valorant and especially Marvel Rivals rather than that I do not have freezing issues normally.

I would also like to point out that after a while after the new update is released, even if I try to update during that time, it fails, and when I try the update again, it succeeds. Today I could update my drivers however I could not launch the Valorant until today when I update them.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

It's been more than a week that i cannot open Valorant because of the graphic card updates. It was working perfectly before that. Normally I use Intel Graphics Software to update them. I've talked with Riot and the problem is even though i regularly update my drivers it wasn't updating itself. So they suggest me to download and install the Intel Iris Xe Graphics manually. After the update i could open the game without any problem. However while I was playing the game ,I am assuming it happened when i got the update, it was frozen and I could not open the game again. Right now I cannot update i tried to download manually it did not work. Will I get this error when I always get the update? How can I update it?

Graphics: Intel Iris Xe Graphics and Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 8gb

Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i9-13900H

System Brand and Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 GU603VI

Hello,

Thank you for your respond.

The link that you sent is correct, it is the system that I have been using.

1) I did not have the previous driver version however I download Intel Arc & Iris Xe Graphics 101.7029 after installing this version i could open the game. While playing i get another update but I could not update and it was Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7076 for 11th-14th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics .

2) I haven't tried uninstalling the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). After I got your reply I downloaded and tried but I could not restart my Windows in safe mode. I got PIN errors and I haven't find any solutions to it yet. Since I do not know to use program I did not want to use it without the Windows safe mode.

3) I do not get any error codes but I can send you the screenshots that shows the errors.

Also my pc gets frozen when I do not have my second monitor. Maybe this could be related with this issue. The only solution I have is to having second monitor and when it gets frozen to restart my pc.

I attach the screenshots and SSU logs.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Duckiest,

Based on your system information, Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7076 is the most recent driver available for your Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics. However, since this version is causing installation issues and the Intel Arc & Iris Xe Graphics 101.7029 version successfully allows you to launch the game, I recommend continuing to use the working version for now. I just noticed a discrepancy in the SSU log file. While you mentioned that you've successfully installed 101.7029 and launches the game well, but the SSU logs shows driver version 32.0.101.6790 as currently installed, could you please confirm on this?

Since you're encountering PIN errors when attempting to access Safe Mode, I recommend avoiding DDU at this time. This suggests there may be an underlying Windows authentication issue that should be addressed first. You may want to contact Microsoft Support for assistance with resolving the Safe Mode access problem.

Alternative solutions to try:

Manual driver rollback: Go to Device Manager > Display Adapters > Right-click Intel Graphics > Properties > Driver tab > Roll Back Driver

Proceed with Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows* of the latest Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7076.

Regarding the freezing issue when using a single monitor: This indicates a display configuration problem that may be connected to your graphics driver issues. Since connecting a second monitor prevents the freezing, it suggests your system is having difficulty with display management. Please monitor whether this issue persists after you successfully install Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7076.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

JeanetteC.

Intel Customer Support Technician
