Driver Version: 32.0.101.7029

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.4946]

When using Speed Sync in a program that uses D3D11, the program always hangs.

In the worst case scenario, it will cause a Windows BSOD.

igdkmdnd64.sys (I think) causes the following bugcheck:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I understand you're experiencing program crashes when using Speed Sync with D3D11 applications, and this is sometimes causing Windows blue screens with these error codes:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

The crashes seem to be related to the Intel graphics driver (igdkmdnd64.sys).

To help investigate this issue, please provide:

Which specific applications are causing the problem
An Intel SSU report
Any crash dump files, if available

It is desirable to either implement Speed Sync without issues or disable Speed Sync.

Programs confirmed to have experienced `crashes`, `drawing stoppage and unresponsiveness`, or `detected errors and terminated` when Speed Sync is enabled (D3D11 or D3D9, fullscreen, disable vsync).

Having checked here, the main issue is the display driver failed to respond in timely fashion. Please perform DDU and re-install the latest driver 32.0.101.7029.

The above issue was the result of installing 32.0.101.7029 immediately after uninstalling using DDU.

In the first place, the timeout occurs because there is a problem with the implementation.

Again, it would be best to either implement Speed Sync without any issues, or disable it altogether.

There is a newer driver, 32.0.101.8132, but it doesn't say that it has been fixed, so the problem probably still exists in 32.0.101.8132.

Please let me know when it's fixed.

Thank you for the detailed feedback regarding the driver installation and Speed Sync implementation issue. I understand that the "timeout problem" occurred after a clean DDU installation of driver 32.0.101.7029

To proceed with further investigation, can you please try the oldest available driver (32.0.101.6874) using the DDU, for comparison to the latest one (32.0.101.8132)?

Please share the latest SSU log file and CapFrameX (Json file)

I couldn't find the community using Speed Sync, but when I searched for SpeedSync, I found the following discussion that also describes the same issue.

This issue also occurs with Driver Version: 32.0.101.8132, but neither the Release Notes for 32.0.101.7029 nor those for 32.0.101.8132 list it under Known Issues.
