topic When playing 'Arknights: Endfield', using the default Vulkan API will result in a black screen. in Intel® Arc™ Discrete Graphics

When playing 'Arknights: Endfield', using the default Vulkan API and entering fullscreen mode, the screen will go black for a period of time when switching applications with Alt+Tab or using the Win key. In addition, a similar situation occurs when playing Minecraft Java Edition. Previously, I did not experience this issue when using an AMD graphics card, so I reasonably suspect that this version of the driver (the latest 2026.2.25 driver) has compatibility issues with OpenGL and Vulkan.

Hello chihayanoanon,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

May I kindly ask which Intel Graphics card you are currently using? This will help me better understand the issue.

Also, since we can only assist with one issue per thread, I recommend creating a separate thread for the Minecraft Java Edition concern. This ensures we can give each issue the focused attention.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician
