High power consumption when A750 is Idle

I tried to set the bios according to the official example. ( official example: High Power Consumption when Intel® Arc™ Graphics Card is Idle )

But it's useless to do!

Its minimum power consumption not less than 40W, even if I set the screen to 1920x1080&60hz or lower.

I'm not sure where the problem is, so I asked ASUS tech support, this is their response: "Upgrade bios and me firmware to the latest version"

I checked my system again, I can be sure that my configuration is correct and updated ME&BIOS to latest version.

I search for relevant content in the list of issues, or search on Bilibili/YouTobe, but there isn't any successfully resolved case, this makes people suspect that the power consumption problem cannot be solved.

Has this issue been raised with the engineer?
When can a meaningful solution be launched?

Thank you for your patience. After checking the information provided, we would like to inform you that there is no ideal power draw at Idle or ideal temperature.

The max temperature under load is 90C before GPU starts throttling and the power draw and typical workload 225 Watts. In this case, this behavior is expected and under parameters.

This behavior is expected, do you mean 40W power consumption when idle?

What caused A750 can drop to 10W when idle but A770 can't.

Is the A750 a defective product?

Answering your questions, these behaviors are expected and do not mean neither GPU is defective as these ranges of power draw when the system is idle have not been defined and there is no ideal power draw set up for Intel® Arc™ Graphics.
