Visual Artifacts on chrome

Hello. Whenever i´m using chrome with my asrock b580 challenger, i get some artifacts on the buttons to minimize and maximize the screen if i pass the mouse close to them. If i disable hardware acceleration it stop from happening. This does not happend with my previous gpu. I have tested 3 or 4 versions of the drivers but it happens with all of them. The rest of my system is windows 11 with a ryzen 5 5600x cpu and 32 gb of memory.

Since the issue only occurs when hardware acceleration is enabled, this strongly suggests a GPU acceleration/rendering interaction rather than a general hardware defect. To narrow this down properly, I’d like to ask a few targeted questions:

What exact driver version are you currently running?
Are you using HDMI or DisplayPort? (And what resolution + refresh rate?)
Is this happening on a single monitor or a multi-monitor setup?
Does the issue appear only in Chrome, or have you tested other Chromium-based browsers like Edge?
Are you using any browser extensions that modify UI behavior or themes?

Also, just to confirm:

Is your motherboard BIOS updated to the latest version?
Is Resize BAR enabled in BIOS?

Additionally, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.

Since disabling hardware acceleration resolves the issue, one temporary workaround is to leave it off, but ideally we want hardware acceleration functioning properly.

Now answering the questions that you have asked:
I'm using driver version 32.0.101.8509 in a single monitor (AOC 24G2U) with display port cable and 1920x1080 resolution with 144hz display. It happens the same with edge browser too. I am not using any browser extensions that modify the UI. My bios is up to date to the latest official version (version .1M, MSI mag b550m mortar) and the resizable bar it's enabled.

Thank you for providing all the details. I can see that you’re currently using an older driver version, 32.0.101.8509. Please be guided that the latest Intel graphics driver, 32.0.101.8531, includes improvements that can help address the Visual Artifacts issue you’re experiencing in Chrome (and Edge). Before installing the latest driver, please use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to thoroughly remove any remnants of the old driver and associated applications. For guidance, you can refer to this article: How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.

Once the old driver is completely removed, you can install the latest driver. If the issue persists after this, kindly share your Intel System Support Utility (SSU) logs. I did the same thing in the video and casually have the same issue

I also have an Asrock B580 Challenger that is working fine, but i can reproduce this

It doesn't affect stability, but is weird

I can confirm, I have the same issue.
Just move the mouse quickly back and forth and it appears.
By the way, this happens not only in the browser (I have Edge), but also in other apps, like Notepad.

Sometimes there are artifacts in Paint, in the form of dots similar to burnt-out pixels on a monitor.

Thank you for your patience while we reviewed the reported issue. I would like to share that during my internal testing, we were able to reproduce the same behavior initially. However, after performing a DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) cleanup and selecting all GPU drivers for removal before reinstalling the graphics driver, the issue was no longer observed. Applications such as Chrome, Edge, Microsoft Store, and File Explorer were working normally after this step. If the issue is still occurring on your system, I recommend performing a system reset to help eliminate any remaining software or configuration conflicts that may be affecting the system.

I did everything you wrote, booted into safe mode, and uninstalled ALL video card drivers for all video cards using DDU 18.1.4.3.

Nothing changed, I'm not surprised.

Guys, I get the impression you have one computer for testing, for everyone.
So you're coming up with some ridiculous solutions on the fly, so users can try them out for themselves.
Because you rarely have access to that computer. Is that true?

Hello again. I have done all the steps you mentioned, removing all gpu with DDU and still got that litle bright dots appearing unfortunately.
