good night

I wanted to ask and know, if the temperature of 90 degrees is maintained, the Intel Arc A770 16GB triple AAA gaming graphics card would be fine? Why the intel arc control panel and then in performance and configure the default it brings 90 degrees, if not exceeds 90 degrees in triple AAA games would it work well? asked

well red dead redemption 2 sometimes gets close to the temperature limit (90 degrees celcius) and it is a AAA game so I recommend that in Intel Arc Control performance section you lower the temperature limit to 80 degrees celcius and adjust the gpu fan speed manually the option I recommend the most is Fixed Fan Target. but in AA games you don't have to worry about the temperatures just check the temperature with msi afterburner or press Alt + o on your gpu.

So if I play GTA V Mafia 3 at 75 and 76 degrees always at that temperature that means it's fine, right? And then why does Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and other games pull from 88 to 90 degrees? with my Intel Arc A770 16GB

So if I play GTA V Mafia 3 at 75 and 76 degrees always at that temperature that means it's fine, right?

Yes

And then why does Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and other games pull from 88 to 90 degrees? with my Intel Arc A770 16GB

I would say that it could be because modern gpus are more powerful than other gpus for example: the gtx 1050ti and the 16gb arc a770 it is evident that the 16gb arc a770 can get hotter due to its capabilities and can even handle demanding games. And there are also factors like:

• Bad ventilation in your PC
•Overclock (I don't even recommend doing that because the arc a770 of 16gb already has problems with optimization (only sometimes bad optimization, the rest is positive) imagine doing overclock that gpu heats up and apart from the overclock it heats up even more and it's not worth it the overclock is worth it with that GPU because at most there is a difference of 1 to 2 fps
•It could also be because they are desktop GPUS that Intel has never experienced and you know what can happen (problems like performance like with opengl, directx 11, 10 and 9. Temperature can also be, crashes are still rare a crashing is currently rare and other things that may appear rarely with that gpu)

• Extra tip about the GPU I am going to show you the stuttering by api (it affects the performance in games)

More sttutering = bad performance

Less sttutering = better performance

Opengl - very high sttutering

Directx 12 - low sttutering

Directx 11 - medium-low sttutering

Directx 10 - medium stuttering

Directx 9 - high stuttering

Vulkan - very low stuttering

The fans have a total of 10, but if it is set at 88 and 90 degrees in Red Dead Redemption 2, everything at a maximum of 1920x1080 Full HD, we are going to go ultra wild, it shoots me above 60 FPS in Vulkan, it's going well, right? , what if I want to know why in VRAM everything at maximum puts me 94 degrees

In other words, the GPU temperature is worth it, which is the main thing, it is set from 88 to 90 degrees as long as it does not exceed 90 degrees, it is fine, right? and then why the temperature that has 16GB VRAM gets 94 degrees?

but in DirectX 12 many games are below what Intel says, especially Red Dead Redemption 2 if you activate DirectX 12 it throws 1 FPS, I'm waiting for them to release drivers, I don't know if it happens to you or more users, Days Gone, Mafia 3, GTA V uses DirectX 11 and low performance and crashes

60 fps is excellent for a game like this, and the vram gets very hot because they are internal parts that heat up more in games and even more if it is very demanding than the gpu itself but do not forget that there are the fans of the gpu that thanks to that we can enjoy the games.

Do not forget that the more graphic processing is in a gpu, the hotter it gets, so sometimes it is recommended to limit the fps to have stability and good temperatures.

Yes, it is worth checking temperatures sometimes and if it should not exceed the temperature limit, there may be problems, but they are usually not serious.

And VRAM is one of the components that gets hotter, but they are more concerned about the temperature of the GPU itself.

At the end of the day, the GPU will try to lower the temperatures.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 if you use directx 12 the problem is in the game and happens with all gpus of any brand.

I also noticed that in other games there are problems.

But I think that in 1 year maybe they will solve it.

good morning

Yes, I bought the limited edition of Intel Arc A770 16GB, yes, they could get a better design gpu, and the box is very spacious, and the problem is in VRAM if it gets too hot, but other gpus I've had don't get hot, then in general gpu everything is set at 89 and 90 degrees at maximum FULL HD 1920x1080 Vulkan Red Dead Redemption 2, obviously the fan fans can be regulated, I have it set to automatic, so that when it reaches 89 and 90 degrees it sets 2100 Rpm, and a a little more than 3%, but it's not worth it, this GPU is not a very elegant design, etc., obviously it will improve, but I am happy with my Intel Arc A770 16GB limited edition, and if there are problems in DirectX 12, all triple AAA and Intel games are already It has been exclusively reported by Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 it is low fps performance if it is played well fluid but it is not what one expected etc.
