Hi, I`ve just bought a HP Spectre X360 16 with Core i7 1260P - 32 GB RAM 2 TB SSD. First day tried to test a simple game to see how it performs. I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio with RTX A2000 50W TDP, playing World of Warships in 4k max settings FSR 1.0 at around 45 FPS , also have a Spectre X360 15 with a GTX 1650Ti, plays around 33 FPS and 40 Watts TDP. To my surprise, the new Spectre with the ARC A370M plays it at 19 FPS at only 30 Watts. This GPU should be at minimum 35 Watts going up to 40 Watts, just like the 2020 Spectre with the GTX 1650Ti and the 2021 with the RTX 3050. Did HP gave a shot on it`s own foot with the ARC GPU? Or there is a solution? P.S: All the settings were on the highest possible.

Any ideas or should I sell it?

What game did you test?
Take screenshots showing the game settings of the game.
Download, run, save and attach the report for the following tool Intel® System Support Utility for Windows (SSU) to check the system environment and if there is any pending driver on your system, you can find the steps on the link How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows.

Hi Andres. A simple game to test is World of Warships. Full HD max settings with FSR 1.0 enabled. Average of 60 fps against more than 90 fos on Spectre x360 15 with GTX 1650TI. The 16 inches with ARC is stuck at 28w 29w. I've done what you said but cannot send it over email as it shows email address not found.

No, the laptop was sent back to HP, they replied today saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I've told them that the issue is low TDP of the graphics card, no more than 30 Watts max. Where it should be minimum 35 Watts. As I can see HP is hiding information about the TGP, so I believe they capped the GPU on purpose for whatever reason and they won't admit anything wrong with it. The performance is lower compared to my Spectre with a GTX 1650 Ti which goes from 35 Watts to 40 Watts pick power. Not even close to my Surface Laptop Studio with a RTX A2000 which goes from 35 Watts up to 50 Watts pick power. Technically, this A370M should go also from 35W to 50W. It barely reaches 30W. What a waste of money.

Hi Andres, as I suspected HP service centre didn't do anything, they say they couldn't find any issues. I've just tested and could see a max TDP of 32 Watts during a second or so. Tomorrow the laptop is going back to the service centre and I'll send it back until they fix the issue or replace the laptop. Don't know anymore what to do and I can't find a straight information from HP about the real TDP on the Spectre. Also can't find similar complaints online.

I see in the system information you attached the graphics driver is not up to date, to check if the behavior changes follow the steps below, if it is already updated it please still complete them:

Clean install the graphics driver to version 31.0.101.4826 with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.

The drivers are updated. I received the laptop today, the motherboard was replaced. I've tested on Geekbench 6 and there was a pick power of 39 Watts. O thought the problem was solved. Than, I tested a couple of games using Intel Arc Overlay and once again the games stay at 28 Watts - 29 Watts. I have no idea what Intel is doing, but clearly the GPU power is being capped.
