topic Disabling Intel AMT components in Intel® Business Client Software Development

I have a new Dell 755 and we do not want to use the AMT component. We cannot use Windows remote desktop & need to know if there is a setting we need to do. I have tired both disabling AMT completely and selecting none for the Manageability Feature Selection. We have port 3389 open.

Remote desktop will work on other machines just not on the new 755s with AMT.

Hi,

AMT has no involvment in the remote desktop functionality. Remote desktop feature is provided by the OS and you might want to take a look at this forum thread regarding Dell 755 machines.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
