I am currently using Photon shaders which is compatible with intel arc graphics. I have a Intel arc a770 16gb Sparkle model. I am using the software directly from intels site and am currently on the latest driver. I noticed the shader model is on 6.6 . Currently there seems to be an issue specifically with ice or transparent blocks in general. The issue doesn't seem to be related to the shader itself but more or less with the GPU. I've already reached out to the creator of the shader pack and there is sadly nothing he can do on his end as this is really an issue with intels shader compatability. I am on driver version 32.0.101.6078. Everything is up to date.resource pack(texture pack which makes the ice blocks invisible)

Hey there!

First time I've tried this shader out. There are other shaders that are completely unsupported and some that work completely fine.

I haven't tried rolling back the graphics driver. Being that this is up to date, I'd rather not mess with that.

I haven't tried the display driver uninstaller. What is that?

Minecraft is downloaded through the microsoft store but I'm using platforms like curseforge and modrinth to have the shaders work easily and smoothly.

Also I have tried adjusting settings in game, tried installing different versions of said shader, reached out to the creator of the shader mod, tried different compatibility tricks to no avail

Just as an update, I uninstalled and reinstalled to the latest driver that came out 10/3/24

.6083 . Issue was not fixed unfortunately with the update.

I'll ask my team to take a look at your case and seek recommendations from them.

While waiting, Kindly run this on your system so that I can also gauge the following peripherals and the driver versions that you have:

Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*

Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan (leave the default items checked), click next, then save the system information to a .txt file.

Hi @8BitTim thanks a lot for reporting this issue and welcome to the Intel Indie Game Dev Support forum

Could you address the mod developer to come help us in this post?

We'll need a fast way to reproduce the issue, if he can share a small homebrew code that shows the shader issue, that would be awesome. We also need mod download numbers, impact, etc.

Thanks a lot! Looking forward to any update you guys have
