      <title>people detector - open_model_zoo</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Newby here 1st timer.....would anyone have any incite which &lt;A href="https://github.com/openvinotoolkit/open_model_zoo/tree/master/models" target="_self"&gt;models&lt;/A&gt; work best for people detection in the openVINO zoo model repo? In the `public` folder there isn't any labeled for people and I have been testing these in the `intel` folder:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://gist.github.com/bbartling/fbe0cd218d42a40ea69dd82964ee022d#file-flask_app-py" target="_self"&gt;My code&lt;/A&gt; runs fast, ~28 FPS on just CPU but its real jumpy and some angles or people or only half a person in frame doesn't classify well. So am hoping a better model would help some. Logging this on grafana even though the amount of people doesn't change it looks like this over time when logging the conference room occupancy on 60 second intervals:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;So any advice to try greatly appreciated....also &lt;A href="https://github.com/openvinotoolkit/open_model_zoo/issues/3567" target="_self"&gt;submitted a github issue&lt;/A&gt; for the open Model Zoo where I am having a hard time with handling some of the model outputs.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Sorry sort of new to this, I understand at a high level I think the steps you mentioned and I know enough to be dangerous to incorporate using a pre-trained model but don't understand enough yet on how to do the steps mentioned above.&lt;/P&gt;
