C:\intelpython3\Scripts\conda.exe&lt;BR /&gt;Running `conda clean --packages` may resolve your problem.&lt;BR /&gt;Attempting to roll back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;conda clean --all --yes : does nothing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Quick googling showed this problem&amp;nbsp; was seen before when the install script removed conda, then tried to link tqdm, then tried conda install.&amp;nbsp; With this failing the link process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pretty new to python, so not sure how to hack install scripts any advice welcome.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More info:&amp;nbsp; This is off a fresh install of:&amp;nbsp;w_pythoni3_p_2019.4.088&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This has generally been broken in the last two releases (2019 Updates 4 and 5).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This used to work:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Extract Intel Python distribution ZIP file to C:\IntelPython3&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In that directory, type&amp;nbsp;setup_intel_python.bat&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Scripts\Activate&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;conda update conda&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;conda install pyodbc pymssql sqlalchemy seaborn ipython xlrd xlwt openpyxl&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;conda install spyder jupyter&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now, it consistently dies on step 4, and the later steps do not work at all.&amp;nbsp; Intel, please fix this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
