Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family?

Hi,

I have the above chipset in a Gateway laptop. I just restored the computer to factory specs and can't get the resolution beyond 1280x800. As someone determined to figure things out I'm pretty frustrated. I've downloaded current drivers etc.; even one that was supposed to fix this exact problem, but still no luck.

Any suggestion or help would GREATLY be appreciated.
