J1900 GPIO linux Configuration

Hi,

I got a new board with Intel Bay-trail J1900 processor. I installed ubuntu 14.04 onto it. I have a gpio port with the pin configuration in the image attached from the manufacturer. I am building a HMI application using this hardware.

I need to develop python based application which uses GPIO interface. Do I have to configure the gpio? Also, is there an api/program which I can refer for my task?

In order to be on the same page, could you please tell us if the affected design has been developed by you or it has been developed by a third-party company? In case that it is a third-party device, could you please give us all the information related to it?

The board is a panel pc we have got from a vendor. The datasheet of the same is attached in the mail. If there is any further information required, please let me know.
