BLDK for Atom N2600 (Cedarview)?

Hi All -

Does anyone know if Atom N2600 (Cedarview) processor support will be added to the Intel BLDK? We need a low cost bootloader for a WinCE7 based system that we are developing. Any Intel documentation that I can find stops at the Atom E6xx.

Hello Mike,

Currently all the reference boot loaders and documentation available at http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/embedded/hwsw/software/bldk http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/embedded/hwsw/software/bldk refer to older Intel(R) Atom® based platforms. However, they can be use as guide and example to start developing the boot loader for the new platform. We are constantly updating and publishing new documentation and reference firmware in the website, therefore, new content might be available soon.

Unfortunately this link http://edc.intel.com/Link.aspx?id=5759 http://edc.intel.com/Link.aspx?id=5759 containts no BIOS reference code for Cedarview.

It is P-Unit firmware. Is it mistake ? Does Cedarview BRC still available ?

BLDK for Cedarview should be release next week according to the schedule. Please check EDC.intel.com again if it is psoted.

We are anxious to test the BLDK when it is released. It is my understanding that the release next week is a Beta and the Gold release will be another 3 weeks or so. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Mr. Rabbani, any word on the BLDK for the ATOM N2600? It was supposed to be released this week. I don't see anything posted on EDC.Intel.com..... is there any new release information?

BLDK for Cedar Trail Beta release is available. The only way we can provide to customers is through QuAD. Please submit an issue using QuAD.
