Hi - Regarding the internet issues on intel atom tunnel creek e6xx

I recently installed ubuntu 10.04 on my atom board tunnel creek. If i connect the ethernet cable to the atom board, I was not able to get the internet connection. What drivers am i supposed to install?? please share if you know this. I couldn't install softwares in ubuntu using sudo-apt get command. I badly want the internet on the board.

Hello

This issue has nothing to do with the Atom (TunnelCreek) processor.

In case ethernet cable is working with Windows (XP, 7, 8) and not with Ubuntu (and Fedora etc.) then most likely this is cause by the implementation of the network PHY chip, which is connected with the TopCliff (EG20T) chipset.
