SPI Flash more than 16MB with Atom E3800

I want to use 2Gb (256MB) SPI NOR for boot image and platform software but the Atom DS states "each SPI flash device can be up to 16MB". SPI NOR is the only storage on my design. Will PCU SPI bus support SPI device >16MB not for boot but other purposes? Thx

Hello Quinn Dinh,

Maximum size would be 16MB for each of the two which stores boot firmware and system configuration data.

No other SPI peripherals are supported.
