C3508 SPI Flash to hold syslogs from OS?

Using a C3508 with two 64MB SPI Flash devices connected. Would like to use one for holding syslogs from the OS (Linux). The documentation I've seen shows a dual Flash setup with regions for BIOS, ME, IE, LAN, and Flash Descriptor but does not show a region for general purpose read/write storage. Is this possible?
