I apologize if this is not the right place to post my problem with iegd driver and arch linux but I just want to ask if I should give up or not.

I compiled the iegd module as suggested by Adam on nanoant forum and everything went fine. However when I run agp_test (or when I start X) I get two different kernel oops alternated:

http://pastie.org/857017 http://pastie.org/857017" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://pastie.org/857017 (error in iegd_plb_vm_fault)

http://pastie.org/857020 http://pastie.org/857020" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://pastie.org/857020 (error in iegd_plb_insert_entries)

http://pastie.org/857021 http://pastie.org/857021" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://pastie.org/857021 (error in iegd_plb_vm_fault again)

and so on. Please note that the letters (A, B, C etc..) was added by me in the source code of the driver: http://pastie.org/857400 http://pastie.org/857400" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://pastie.org/857400 (drv_plb.c)

I own a fitpc2,

Linux argo 2.6.32-ARCH # 1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Feb 23 19:24:08 UTC 2010 i686 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU Z530 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Is there something I could try to make the driver work? Downgrading the kernel version, trying an older version of IEGD drivers?

Thanks in advances

Pietro
