Intel Embedded Server cannot discover sata device

I am working on Intel Embedded Server, but in boot selection mode, I cannot see the disk inserted in the slot, but the diagnostic message shows the two disk I inserted, and I am sure the two disks are Ok, because they work well on another server.

Please someone help me with this problem, greatly appericate.

I use http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/server-systems/server-board-s2600gz-gl-systems.html Intel® Server System R2308GL4GS,

Now I am trying to install RedHat 6.4 OS, but system can't discover the SATA device inserted in the slot, I try all 8 slots with 2 Hard disks which work well on other server.

you can see from the two pics I pasted, in boot selection mode, no Hard drive display, but display in diagnostic message .

According to your description, I have some questions not clear, could you please help me to confirm it?

1. Confirm your server board is no problem.

2. In BIOS setup, could you find the two disks?

And you could update your BIOS to try again.

How many server boards do you have? Have you tried to replace a new board?

We should rule the quality problem out at first.
