Your processor supports up to 32GB memory:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/52207/intel-core-i52400-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-40-ghz.html

But, the real question is: what does your motherboard support?

Ask your motherboard manufacturer for memory size and type information for their board.

Hello people I hope you are very well, I have a very big doubt and that is that I want to improve my Ram memory I have 4GB and I want to improve it to 16GB of Ram, but my socket is 1155 LGA with an Intel H61 Express Chipset I was seeing in several forums that it is impossible to support 16GB when the maximum is 8GB, others said that if it is possible, well after all, nobody said exactly that I could, so I want to get out of the doubt at once, CAN I YES OR NO?

My specs:

Intel i5 2400

4GB Ram

Intel H61 Express Chipset

Dedicated graphics GTX 750 Ti
