x710-AT2 IEEE Testmodes, Register Access

We have a self designed product that is using x710-AT2 ethernet controller. The ethernet interface is working fine and now I want to do some tests e.g., IEEE compliance tests. I tried lanconf under Linux OS and also using EFI console. The controller is detected as x710-TL by lanconf and I found some BER tests under the IEEE test menu but how can I test IEEE compliance?

For instance for the 1000BASE-T test I have to write GMII register bits 9.15 - 9.13 to value '001'.

Is there any tool or document describing this scenario for the x710?

thank you. I have looked at the PDF files mentioned and understand the IEEE testing procedure, but the problem is how to enable a specific test mode:

Example ieee gig tm.pdf page 15:

"Select the Amplitude and Level Accuracy: 40.6.1.2.1 Test from the 1000BASE-T PHY Configuration Tests menu in LANConf.exe."

Using a x710AT2 100M/1G/10G controller LANconf shows no IEEE 1000BASE-T compliance tests but the following:

I have tested our own prototype hardware as well as an Intel branded x710T2L ethernet PCIe adapter and they are both the same. So the question is how to use LANconf or another tool to configure the x710AT2 controller to output the IEEE test signals. Maybe I need a specific firmware?

Where do you purchase the Ethernet Controllers X710-AT2 associated with this situation?

Our company is a customer of Intel and has access to Developer Tools. The ethernet controllers have been purchased by a distributor. As already mentioned, a Intel branded x710T2L ethernet PCIe adapter shows the same behavior.
