    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have searched for the possible answer on the forums and outside but no avail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Issue: Device Cannot Start Code 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Computer: Thinkpad W540&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OS: Windows 7 Pro&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Architecture: x64&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Short-term Solution: Disable/Enable the device on Device Manager&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The things I already did are the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Windows Update&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;BIOS are set to factory default&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Lenovo System Update&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Downloaded and (re-)installed drivers from Intel's Website (older and newer/-est drivers)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Deleted previous drivers&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Disk cleanup&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any other troubleshooting steps that I may have missed? Please don't tell me that the motherboard used on the W540 is defective by design.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
