Hi,

I newly own an ASUS Z170-A Mainboard and the Intel Network Driver for the I219-V Adapter causes the Machine to crash regularly.

By uninstalling the Driver, the Computer runs stable over 2 Days.

With the driver installed, the crashes occur latest after about 2 Hours.

The rest of the components are:

Intel Core i7-6700 CPU

Samsung SSD 840 Pro (250GB)

Crucial 16GB 2 DIMM Kit (CL15)

Corsair 650 W Power Supply

Seagate ST3000DM002-1BJ166 3 TB HDD

For now, the system is of no use for me, since it's only stable when offline.

And searching the net, I am by far not the only one having this problem.

Please update driver soon.

Hi Taraman,

Thank you for the post. As this is an onboard NIC on Asus system, you need to contact Asus for the drivers.

Rgds,

wb

Dear wb,

processually correct, but technically not.

From where is ASUS getting the drivers?

How can they supply me a new driver, when there is none from Intel?

Best regards

Taraman
