Intel(R) Ethernet connection I218-V cant update.

I have tried running the trouble shooter, i have tried uninstalling the driver and letiing windows auto install it. I have tried un installing and running the installation media from the intel website. I have tried uninstalling it and manually updating the drivers by extracting the instalation media files to a temp folder and using it as a seudo disk for the driver install. The last update windows update i had was on december 12th and it was working perfectly fine earlier this day.
