In latest Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack 30.2.1 one can find a Windows 11 resp. Server 2025 driver for E610, but the driver does not offer PTP hardware timestamping support.

As E610 Ethernet controller does support PTP hardware timestamping (see https://cdrdv2-public.intel.com/743371/E610_Datasheet_Rev1_0.pdf), when will such a driver be available?

Thank you.

Well, it's a bit disappointing that Intel doesn't even have a roadmap about Windows PTP support for E610.

Unfortunately Intel already has a bad reputation on not supporting PTP on Windows on Intel NICs resp. Ethernet controllers.

It would be very welcome if you could pass the request for proper PTP support (hardware timestamping support) for Intel's Windows network drivers the the relevant managers, so that they can understand that the industry is missing this.

Once in the old times there was a buzzword named "Wintel". Nowadays one could get the impression that for Intel for sophisticated stuff there's only Linux. But that's not the case. On the desktop there's still Windows everywhere and PTP is needed there also.

Thank you and best regards
