Hi 종혁 원,

Thank you for posting your inquiry at Wired community. Use cross over cable when connecting to two network adapter directly due to MDI(medium dependent interface) to MDI or MDIX to MDIX. However, with the auto-MDIX on the network adapter nowadays, you can use straight through cable to connect the PC with network adapters that support auto-mdix as it can automatically detect the configuration. Please provide what is the network adapter you use.

Thanks,

wb

When connecting PC and PC directly

In general, a cross cable is used.

I saw a PC to PC connection via a direct cable.

We confirmed that the ping test works normally.

There seems to be a separate LAN card to support this ...

Is there a way to check in the Network attribute?

Or is there a supported Chipset series?

Please continue to consult with Siemens for the auto-MDIX since the I217 and I210 were integrated to their system, further customization might have been made.

Thanks,

sharon
