      <description>&lt;P&gt;hello all：&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;          I am receiving the follwoing error when I installed the igb-5.3.5.10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;          &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[ 2617.676535] igb 0000:04:00.0: The NVM Checksum Is Not Valid&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[ 2617.702549] igb 0000:04:00.1: The NVM Checksum Is Not Valid&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[ 2617.728535] igb 0000:04:00.2: The NVM Checksum Is Not Valid&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[ 2617.754518] igb 0000:04:00.3: The NVM Checksum Is Not Valid&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Linux version 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64 &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core) &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please provide troubleshooting steps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Linuq,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; Thank you for the information. 82580EB is the Ethernet controller, is this an onboard NIC or a standalone network adapter like I340 ? Have you tried reflash the bootagent by downloading the file below at  &lt;A href="https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19186"&gt;https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19186&lt;/A&gt; in case this is an I340 standalone NIC. You may refer to this 3rd party link for reference which is some what similar case :&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;A href="http://mynixworld.info/2012/12/05/e1000e-the-nvm-checksum-is-not-valid/"&gt;http://mynixworld.info/2012/12/05/e1000e-the-nvm-checksum-is-not-valid/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;  If it is an onboard NIC, please check with the system vendor how you can reflash the NIC. &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;  However, please be informed this is a third party website which is not of Intel's, the content therein is not control by Intel, we do not have control over the suggestion provided.
