D415/D435 IR RANGE

Hello everyone, as it is mentioned in the title, the subject is about the infrared distance is 10m and more for models D415 / D435 which is mentioned on the datasheet.

Currently, I use the model SR300 but I'm very limited with the maximum distance of 3m. The D415 / D435 keep their promises regarding depth distance?

Have people tested it?

Thanks for contacting Intel customer support.

Intel has tested the IR range and that is the reason why it is published that can reach up to 10 m. In the following link you will find the general technical information.

The 10 m measurement is under very ideal conditions of lighting and calibration. The IR range is a very variable specification and will depend completely on the environmental conditions.
