There is not likely to be an -easy- way to solve it. A possible workaround was discussed in another post though, where the camera would be rotated so that, like a lighthouse beam, there would be periods when a camera's IR beam was facing away from other cameras and so not "crossing the streams".

For a hand and body tracking project, we want to use a SR300 camera and Kinect V2 "at the same time".

Unfortunately (probably) the IR light of Kinect interferes with the SR300.

Is there any way to avoid this?

I already saw this post ( ), but I am wondering if there is any more straight forward way to solve this.

Thanks.
