Hi there!

I'm trying to segment the planes in my scene (PointCloud), and everything goes well until I put a small object on the floor. The problem is that, through PointCloud Library, I've tried to extract the indices of each plane and then make a Concave Hull, but nothing tells me that there is a "forbidden" area there because of the object.

It's clearly noticeable that the object is there, and it is detected, but I'm not sure how to proceed to take it into account.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Georgge,

Sorry for the delay. We are working on getting you an answer. Preliminarily, we were told that you will need to recognize the object then try to average it out to remove it from the scene. I know this is vague but we are still trying to pursue a more solid answer for you.

Regards,

Jesus G.

Intel Customer Support

Hello @Georgge,

We could not find a more precise solution internally for what you are trying to do. If our previous answer is not enough, we recommend posting this as an issue in https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/issues in case someone in the GitHub community can help.

Regards,

Jesus

Intel Customer Support
