What is the minimal set of firmware files I need to use NUC

So today I learned that my GNU/Linux distribution's `linux-unfree-firmware` package is 491 Mb in size. I'm pretty sure my Intel NUC hardware doesn't need all of these files. Hence I think I can reduce this disk usage if I'll only know what files I can exclude from there.

Is there any official documentation, that states exactly what files from https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/ are needed specifically for Intel NUC5i7RYH ?

There is big difference between OFFICIALLY not supported and not works. You really think that people drop Linux and install Windows instead? For Linux user answer like "Linux is not supported, install Windows instead" is worse than no answer.

For the record, I'll testify that my WiFi doesn't work if I don't install this firmware. More over, the Git repository I linked in my question (https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/) is a repository of firmware files that come in the form of binary blobs and they are all maintained by hardware makers such as Intel. So, since my hardware works thanks to the existence of this files which are given to me almost directly by Intel, I assume that means my hardware is Linux supported.

As for your comment @[Al.Hill] saying I should contact my Linux Distro, that's certainly a rather (stupid) unhelpful answer, as usually Linux distros are managed by the community and if I don't know such an answer, it's likely no one in my community will know..

@[Al.Hill] you are making the impression you don't really know even the basic things there are to know about GNU/Linux ecosystems, hence I think what's annoying in your responses, are that you are trying to show knowledge you don't posses. And that annoys me too as a 1st time writer in this forum.
