topic Can I align the frames in postprocessing? in Items with no label

I was wondering whether I could align the color and depth frames in postprocessing (and what characteristics of the streams should I save in order to do so) rather than doing it realtime. It is basically since I am doing other more critical analysis on realtime and frame processing is hurting the effective FrameRate. If I could offload that to postprocessing, it would really save me on real time acquisition!

Thanks!

Yes, you can do align in post-processing. You can find examples of discussions about this by googling for 'librealsense post processing align'. Of those search results, the link below was the best one that I could find, which contains some example scripting.

https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/issues/2157
