Java support and the Web Runtime have been removed from the R3 SDK onwards. Developers will need to download the previous R2 SDK to continue to use them.

From the "What's new and different in Intel RealSense SDK 2016 R3' post at the top of the forum front page:

"MW packages, such as Blob Tracking, Speech, Touchless Controller, RealSense Web Runtime, and Java support, have been deprecated and are only available in previous versions of the RealSense SDK."

I looked in the release notes document about the web runtime and fixing problems with it. It said:

Webapp runtime components from older releases cannot be installed if newer "Intel(R) Technology Access*" (ITA) version is installed. The recovery procedure is to:

Remove ITA

Install WebApp

Install latest ITA

Hi Eyalpano,

Thanks for the information provided. Looking at that information we believe you are using an Intel RealSense F200 camera, is it correct? We are asking for it because the DCM you have shared is from that camera, you can check it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25044/Intel-RealSense-Depth-Camera-Manager Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager, and in the first post you mentioned the SR300 camera.

Additionally, we would like to confirm some information. In the link shared in my previous post (https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/realsense/topic/625304 link) some users have solved it by updating the ITA. Have you updated the ITA?

We'll be waiting for you reply.

Regards,

-Yermi

I did some research into the error and into the ITA. In a discussion thread commented on by Intel staffer Ricardog, it was stated that the ITA's function relates to PCs with touch screens such as '2 in 1' devices.

The purpose of the ITA is restated in this other post by Intel staffer Henry A.

Opinion was that if your PC does not use a touch device then the ITA can be uninstalled and left removed.
