Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager Install Fails

Hi there,

I have just got the Intel RealSense SR300 camera. Whilst trying to install it I am greeted with this error message.

I have tried reinstalling my PC. I still get this error. I hope you can help.

Using USB 3 port?

Also can you post the installation logs from %temp%\micl_tmp_%username%?

Looks like you don't have the proper CPU.

You can go here: http://mark.intel.com/ http://mark.intel.com/ to find out the currently available 6th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors.

Hi there,

I've tried the camera on a different computer which works fine. However that computer is a little Samsung notebook without an Intel 6th Generation Processor. Does it say in the log files that, that is what is causing the error because it looks like the .msi is failing not because of an incorrect processor.

I'm sorry MaksimRichards but to support the bandwidth needed for the Intel RealSense camera, a powered USB 3.0 port is required on the client system. The SR300 camera requires Windows 10 and a 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor or later.
